It took me years to find a copy of this film. I use to draw Destiny Vampire Mermaid (originally written/illustrated by Ronn Foss). One of the first magazines he sent me (to get a feel for the strip) was a Scary Monsters Magazine that had an article about this great film. I found my copy when our local Hollywood Video shut down. I recently purchased the DVD from a Masters Of Horror collection (feat. Bogart as a monster fiend in Return of Dr. X, Mask Of Fu-Manchu, Mad Love, Devil Doll, with extras).
I found it in FilmFax or something like that.
Hope that helps...

Yes Vince, it does. I saw it offered on Amazon.Com for about 40 dollars. Kinda expensive for the films.

The Return of Dr. X was a bit of a let down for me and at the same time suprisingly intersting. On the DVD, the trailer shows scenes that looked fantastic, sadly it looks like the studio decided to dumb it WAY down, and re-shot many of the scenes.
Watch near the end of the film for two major "blips"
1) Bogart looses his jacket and adds glasses
2) The "chief" of the paper has a strange look on his face as he reaches for the telephone and begins to move his lips..."THE END"

...anyway...
